The congresswoman had a scathing message for House Republicans who made a last-minute flip on President Trump's so-called "Big Beautiful Bill."
"You should be ashamed," she told House Republicans, prompting a rebuke.
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.) zeroed in on two Trump appointees during an otherwise routine hearing Tuesday.
"Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me - I’m just a silly girl," the member of Congress said.
President Donald Trump said "stupid" Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez "can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again."
“Not exactly a vote of confidence," the Democratic lawmaker wrote online.
