Chris Pratt is telling all about a side of Arnold Schwarzenegger that most people don’t get to see.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star revealed during a stop by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday that his famous father-in-law happens to be an “incredible gift-giver.”
Pratt is married to Schwarzenegger’s only daughter, Katherine. The couple share three children together — Lyla, Eloise and Ford — and apparently the former governor of California is amazing at buying things for all of them.
“He’s so good at giving personalized gifts, like quilts with our faces,” Pratt told Fallon. “And for Mother’s Day, he had all the ― he had me bring all the children over, and he set up a whole painting party. It was very cute to see the Governator, you know, painting with the girls. And he had the girls make handprints.”
“And then Ford ― he had me bring Ford back another day and do his handprint,” the actor said, referencing his baby son. “He painted it into a bouquet of flowers that said ‘Happy Mother’s Day, Katherine.’”
“Painted the whole thing, sent it to Katherine for Mother’s Day,” he added. “I was like, ’How am I going to top that?!”
“The Terminator” star, meanwhile, has nothing but praise for his son-in-law.
“He’s a fun guy to talk to,” Schwarzenegger said of Pratt on Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” last year.
“I’m really happy that my daughter has found him. And that he has found her,” he shared at the time. “Because they fit really well together, and they just look wonderful together. They’re so in love with each other.”
