Emily Southard is the Campaign Director of ClimateTruth.org, a climate organization dedicated to fighting the denial, distortion, and disinformation that block bold action on climate change. At ClimateTruth.org, Emily has led the effort to humanize climate change by bringing those on the frontlines of climate impacts face to face with decision makers. Emily was formerly the National Field Campaigner and Lead Organizer at MoveOn.org, where she helped direct the largest electoral phone-banking effort in MoveOn's history. She has worked on a variety of campaigns and for numerous environmental organizations, including the 2008 Obama Campaign, PennEnvironment, The Nevada Wilderness Project, Environment America, the National Environmental Trust, and Green Corps.
