Jennifer Bendery

Senior Politics Reporter, HuffPost

Jennifer Bendery is a senior politics reporter for HuffPost. She has covered Congress and the White House for HuffPost since 2011. While she is a Jane of all trades, some of Bendery's beats include federal judicial nominations, policies affecting Native American communities and tribes, and good old-fashioned hypocrisy by members of Congress. She is the past president of the Washington Press Club Foundation and served on its board for 10 years. Before joining HuffPost, Bendery reported on Congress for four years for Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, and spent four years covering the Texas Legislature in Austin. She also worked in book publishing for three years in San Francisco and reported on health care policy for two years in Providence. She is a veteran player on the Bad News Babes team in the Congressional Women's Softball Game, an annual charity event that pits female journalists against women in Congress.
