Singer Katy Perry is apparently not letting her breakup with actor Orlando Bloom keep her down.
The 40-year-old Perry is currently in Canada touring and was spotted dining with former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, at a Montreal restaurant called Le Violon, according to TMZ.
Eyewitnesses claimed the pair shared several dishes, including one with lobster, as well as a few cocktails, in the presence of security guards.
Witnesses said the chef came out to greet Perry and Trudeau, and the two later went back to the kitchen to personally thank the staff.
Video obtained by the outlet showed the two having a seemingly thoughtful conversation.
It is unknown whether the dinner was an actual date, but it came one month after Perry officially announced her breakup with Bloom, her on-and-off boyfriend of nine years and father to their 4-year-old daughter Daisy.
The split seemed to hit both Bloom and Perry hard.
Earlier this month, Perry appeared to be crying on stage during a concert in Adelaide, Australia, while Bloom posted several moody Carl Jung quotes about “loneliness,” “sadness” and, yes, the dark duality of the human spirit.
Trudeau, who was Canada’s prime minister from 2015 to 2025, separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in August 2023, after 18 years of marriage.
