Marlon Wayans And Julia Fox Lead Jordan Peele’s New Mind-Bending Football Horror Flick 'HIM'

Jordan Peele is back with a chilling new thriller; the first trailer for “HIM” just dropped. Let’s just say, it’s giving paranoia, power and pressure in all the right (and wrong) ways.

The film follows Cameron Cade, played by Tyriq Withers (“Atlanta,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer”), a rising star quarterback whose entire identity is wrapped up in football. On the cusp of entering the NFL Combine, his dreams come crashing down after he’s attacked by an obsessive fan, leaving him with a life-altering brain injury and no clear path forward.

But just when it seems like everything is over, in steps Isaiah White — a legendary, eight-time championship quarterback played by Marlon Wayans — who offers to personally train Cam at his private, off-the-grid compound. There, Isaiah lives with his influencer wife, Elsie White, played by Julia Fox (“Uncut Gems,” “No Sudden Move”), and things quickly start to feel off.

“You want to be a legend? Let me tell you something. This ain’t a game,” Wayans says in a chilling voice. “In this game, violence is rewarded. So, learn to enjoy it.”

"HIM" is hitting theaters on Sept. 19. Watch the spooky trailer below.
