The social media account for the White House was criticized for cringeworthy content on Tuesday after it posted a painting of President Donald Trump surrounded by American flags and bald eagles.
The post was captioned, “They came after the wrong man,” and the words on the painting read, “I was the hunted — NOW I’M THE HUNTER.”
However, if the White House social media department expected people to bow down and pledge fealty to their fearless leader suddenly, they were sorely mistaken.
Instead, the general response tended to be, as mentioned above, cringe. Lots of cringe.
But where some people saw cringe, others just saw a bad action movie sequel.
Many people online assumed the post was the president’s latest attempt to distract MAGA followers enough so they stop asking pesky questions about those unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files.
